This house presents a classical symmetrical face to the entrance courtyard, but relaxes into a much more rambling and informal facade in the rear. The interior contains unusually rich millwork detailing. Most of this is new; fabricated to the architect’s designs; but architectural antiques including stained glass windows provided by the owner’s family add unique individual pieces. As with most artisan revival style designs, this house is rich with the vocabulary of tradition, but never is merely a copy of the past.
