This recently built residence is an architectural composition inspired by 19th – century French design precedent and appropriate for a secluded setting with unique existing site features. The house nestles snugly into the landscape. Careful attention to the detail of the window and dormer locations contributes to the historicism. The iron entry gate invites the visitor into the walled garden. Massive iron strap hinges accentuate the entry door to the walled garden. A paneled door and coffered ceiling in the entry hall complement each other. In the dining the ceiling beams and wainscoting mirror those found in the finer houses of the late-19th century.
